ICTF JPA Board

The ICTF JPA Board is made up of four members, two each from the Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach. Board members are elected to a one year term with no restriction on reelection. The governing Board elects one member as chairperson and may elect a second person as vice chair person for one year.

Nick Sramek is Chairman of the ICTF JPA governing board and also is a member of the Long Beach Board of Harbor Commissioners and the I-710 Executive Committee as an alternate on the Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority's governing board. Previously Mr. Sramek served on the City of Long Beach Planning Commission for seven years and served as Vice-Chairman of the ICTF JPA Board. (read more)

Cindy Miscikowski serves as Vice-Chairwoman of the ICTF JPA governing board. In October 2009 Miscikowski was elected Vice-Chairwoman. Miscikowski has dedicated herself to outreach and public service for the City of Los Angeles including her work as a Los Angeles City Council Member. Miscikowski also serves as the President of the Port of Los Angeles Board of Harbor Commissioners. (read more)

Richard D. Steinke, is a member of the ICTF JPA governing board and also serves as Executive Director of the Port of Long Beach. With Mr. Steinke as Executive Director the Port of Long Beach has launched the pioneering environmental Green Port Policy, paving the way for the Harbor Commission to approve the milestone San Pedro Bay Ports Clean Air Action Plan.

Geraldine Knatz, Ph.D. is a member of the ICTF JPA governing board and also serves as Executive Director of the Port of Los Angeles. As executive director of the Port of Los Angeles, Dr. Knatz oversees the daily operations and internal management of the nation's largest containerport. After an exhaustive national search, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa nominated Dr. Knatz for the position in late 2005. In January 2006, she became the first female executive director of the Port of Los Angeles.
